Hi everyone,
things are starting to settle down a bit now that I am back home - thank you to everyone who emailed or phoned to see how Mum was coming along after surgery. She is doing great - even watering her own garden again now.
I have begun to receive stock - New Kaisercrafts papers, chipboard & epoxy Brads arrived this morning, Xyron order arrived last week - thank you Dot for looking after it for me for a few days, hopefully in on Friday is a top up of a few Bazzill cardstock plus a few new colours and some stitching templates. Work In Progress folders have come in - limited stock of these left so if you want some please be quick. Papercraft Studio Clear stamps should be here next week but not all of them as I have left some up for pre-order. The ones that are coming in are under Stamps. The new colours of Bazzill will be uploaded in the next day or so.
Cricut order should be leaving Brisbane some time either late this week or early next week - AND guess what - after being lost for over 2 months they (Print Blocks) have finally found my Cartridge order and that is coming at the same time - hopefully all cartridges will be in the order as I know some of you have been waiting what seems like half the year for the order. Still trying to chase up the Doublesided Tape order but of course, Victoria seems to have been in shutdown mode since Friday lunchtime last week - hopefully some good news about it tomorrow once Melbourne is back at work.
If you would like any stock brought in this coming Friday (7th November, 2008) I will be at the Senior Citizens Hall from about 11am through to about 6pm at this stage. I am happy to bring any of the new stock in with me (ie: Kaisercraft) if you would like to look at it. If you wish to purchase anything please have the nearly correct money with you as I won't have an EFTPOS machine with me ...lol.
Just let me know.
I have decided to have our first 'Scrap at Home' on Saturday 15 November between 11am and 6pm. BYO lunch - tea and coffee provided (I might even bake a cake). The cost will be $5 per person to cover the cost of tea/coffee, etc. Youw ill receive a 10% discount off purchases made on the day - just like old times. There will be limited places - will work out how many we can fit - let's hope it isn't a stinking hot day. I still have the large cutting mats for the tables so you won't need to bring your own. Cricut will be available for use but if you have cartridges you would like to use of your own by all means bring them along and your own cricut cutting mats and I don't have any spare at the moment although some should come in with the cartridge order - I hope. If you don't want to come scrapping but wish to purchase please feel free to come out - I will have the stock set up to make life easier for us all.
Hope to see you all either at Senior Citizens Hall this coming Friday or here at home on Sat. 15th.

Title: Closing the Railway Street Store
Hi everyone
After nearly 4 years at our Railway Street premises, we have decided to close the retail store towards the end of September.
The website will remain with new and exciting products and 'hard to resist' prices.
It has been a difficult decision to make as I love my little shop and have made some wonderful friends in the time I have been here. We first opened our doors at Railway Street on the 11th April 2005 and it seems like only yesterday that I was panicking that the shop seemed to be so devoid of stock...lol!
My husband and I wish to start travelling around this beautiful country of ours and we can't do that and run a retail store at the same time.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has walked through the doors of our shop - it didn't matter whether you were just after information about scrapbooking or were stocking up to the max on supplies - you were all important to me - thank you.
We will still be having our 'Scrap n Chat' days and our Weekend Getaways. We are hoping to run Scrap n Chat's about every 5 - 6 weeks and retail shopping will be available on those days. Weekend Getaways will, hopefully, be held every 6 to 8 months with a new concept of the 'shop' coming along as well .... WOW.
For those of you who live in Wagga and surrounds, if you wish to place a web order we are offering free delivery to your home on all orders, no matter how big or small. If it isn't convenient for you to have them delivered to you we have a drop-off point in Wagga organized for you to collect from there.
We will be stocking a whole new range of products and have begun ordering these so they can be uploaded onto the website as soon as we close the shop. The website will also become accurate as far as stock numbers go - it has been one of the most difficult things to manage due to instore sales. We will also have discounted pricing on all products - all of the time.
If I think of anything else, I will post it as I think of it.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Design Team Members and Guest Instructors that we have had over the past three and a half years - you are the ones that keep us inspired.
